Travon Walker is getting set for his first NFL season, and now his contract details are officially set.

Field Yates of ESPN reported that Walker’s contract is a 4-year, $37,372,621 fully-guaranteed deal that includes a $24,360,088 signing bonus. Walker last week was the No. 1 overall draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars after he rocketed up draft boards in recent weeks and ultimately became the betting favorite in the days leading up to Thursday’s draft in Las Vegas.

“I was hoping it was the Jaguars from the get-go,” said Walker, per the Associated Press, who grew up about 4 hours north in Thomaston, Georgia.

Jacksonville chose Walker over Michigan star Aidan Hutchinson, largely because they see his ceiling as higher than the Michigan pass rusher, as many draft analysts described Hutchinson as the safer pick with a higher floor.

Walker’s low production at Georgia was viewed as somewhat of a concern by draft analysts, as he had 9.5 sacks in 3 years with the Bulldogs, including 6 during last season’s national championship run.

When Walker was introduced in Jacksonville, owner Shad Khan said, “The results speak for themselves,” he said. “We were all unanimous that this was absolutely the right time for our team for us – that Travon was going to be our No. 1 pick.”
