Ray, from Tallahassee, Florida, has a top 3 of Mississippi State, Tennessee and West Virginia. In the note naming his top 3, Ray thanked the other schools that showed interest.

A North Florida Christian standout, Ray is listed at 6-2, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, he’s rated 4-stars, the No. 39 wide receiver, No. 60 Florida product and No. 305 prospect overall in the class of 2023.
Melvin Ray, Traylon’s uncle, played at Auburn from 2012-to-2015. Auburn is not listed among the 18 scholarship offers.
