The SEC was well represented in the Senior Bowl, especially on offense.

Ole Miss’ Kenny Yeboah, on a pass from Arkansas’ Feleipe Franks, and Florida’s Trevon Grimes delivered second-half touchdowns in a Senior Bowl that grew with excitement as the game wore on.

Franks connected with Yeboah on a 21-yard pass over the middle early in the fourth quarter, while Grimes made a back-shoulder catch from former Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman to close the scoring. Grimes finished with two catches for 33 yards, while Yeboah had two catches for 27 yards.

Franks was 9-for-16 passing for 122 yards and the TD.

The most productive former SEC QB, and quarterback overall, though, was Kellen Mond of Texas A&M, who was 13-for-25 passing for 173 yards and two TDs.

Former South Carolina star Shi Smith had a productive Senior Bowl with three catches for 57 yards, including a catch-and-run of 32 yards.

Newman, who transferred to Georgia and then opted out of the season, was 10-for-14 passing for 118 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
