Trey’Dez Green exits matchup vs. Ole Miss with apparent leg injury

LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green exited Saturday night’s top 10 matchup against Ole Miss with an apparent leg injury. According to reports, Green is doubtful to return with just under 9 minutes remaining in the game.
Green had to be carted to the locker room after appearing to injure his right leg while attempting to break shed an Ole Miss tackle. He took the contact and could no longer put any weight on the aforementioned leg.
That’s a big loss for LSU and quarterback Sam Leavitt, who is going to have to go win this game without his leading receiver. Before his exit, Green sat at 4 receptions for 60 yards.
Green is a massive presence, both figuratively and literally, for this LSU offense. Green stands at 6-foot-7, 237 pounds and is a favorite target of Leavitt’s. For the season, Green is sitting at 14 receptions for 222 yards and 1 touchdown.
LSU and Ole Miss are currently tied at 24-all with the Rebels driving in LSU territory.
