Trinidad Chambliss achieved a rare feat on Saturday afternoon against Vanderbilt.
Chambliss threw a touchdown pass to defensive lineman Jamarious Brown against the Commodores. Brown celebrated in style, too.
Here’s a clip:
The Rebels lost to Florida two weeks ago, and they had some time to have to deal with it. During the week, Pete Golding called his team out, especially his defense. He challenged the team for its lack of effort on many plays in the Florida game, and the Rebels got off to a great start against Vandy with a 42-3 halftime lead.
The schedule for the next two weeks for the Rebels gets back to being extremely difficult, as they have a game against Missouri. It will be a welcome home of sorts, as Missouri quarterback Austin Simmons was the starter for the Rebels last year before getting injured. Chambliss stepped in, and the rest is history.
The following week, the Rebels will be on the road at No. 1 Texas.
