Trinidad Chambliss waits to congratulate Jon Sumrall after Florida’s win over Ole Miss

Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, as they were defeated 52-28 by the Florida Gators. The game was close for a while, but the Gators erupted in the second half for 35 points to pull away for the win.
While Chambliss has been praised for many different attributes, one thing coach Pete Golding says about his quarterback is that he is class personified. He showed a perfect example of that after the game, as he stayed on the field and waited to shake Florida coach Jon Sumrall‘s hand.
The Gators’ coach was doing an interview after the game, and Chambliss stood behind, allowing him to finish the interview before talking to him. Chambliss put together a big game for the Rebels, as he finished with 298 yards and 1 passing touchdown. He also rushed the ball 7 more times for 44 yards and 2 more scores.
After last week’s win against LSU, it was going to be extremely difficult to get to that same level the following week. The Rebels were hanging around early in the second half, but they just ran out of gas and couldn’t get off the field.
Ole Miss will be on a bye next week, and there may be no team in the country that could use one more than the Rebels.
