It has been a rough week for Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Last Sunday, the former Alabama star was knocked out of the Dolphins’ home game against Buffalo.

He returned in the 3rd quarter, however, and helped Miami to a victory.

His return to the field, however, led to plenty of questions.

The Dolphins have maintained that Tagovailoa cleared concussion protocols and did not experience any head or neck injuries in the game.

The NFL Players Association, meanwhile, launched an investigation into the handling of Tagovailoa’s situation against Buffalo.

Miami then traveled to Cincinnati on Thursday night and Tagovailoa was knocked out of the game again.

The Thursday situation looked far worse and shined new light on how Miami had handled things Sunday.

No definitive update on Tagovailoa’s status has been provided, although he has returned to Miami.

But the NFL Player Associations remains involved, and news broke Sunday that the organization had terminated he consultant involved in Tagovailoa’s examination during last Sunday’s game with the Bills.
