Tua Tagovailoa’s exclusion from Pro Bowl roster garners plenty of social media reaction

Tua Tagovailoa has enjoyed a terrific 2022 season as quarterback of the Miami Dolphins.

The former Alabama star missed a pair of games after what appeared to be a scary head injury during Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he’s put up strong numbers throughout the year. He has thrown for 3,238 yards and 24 touchdowns versus just 5 interceptions while ranking 2nd in QBR league-wide. The Dolphins are 8-6 and 2nd in the AFC East after a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Ultimately, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow were named as the AFC’s quarterbacks in the 1st-ever Pro Bowl Games, the league’s reformatted event that will replace the traditional contest played in previous years. While there’s not a major argument to leave those players off, there’s certainly a number of people that felt that Tagovailoa should have had a seat at the table.
