Florida continues to stay hot on the recruiting trail.
The Gators have landed 2 commitments for their 2026 recruiting class on Monday. In-state lineman Javarii Luckas got things started on Monday. Shortly after, fellow lineman Tyler Chukuyem joined the class.
Out of Douglasville (Georgia) South Paulding High School, Chukuyem is listed as measuring 6-6 and 290 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Chukuyem is rated 3-stars, the No. 45 offensive tackle, No. 64 player in the state of Georgia and No. 554 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Chukuyem was sought-after, picking up scholarship offers from 24 programs during his recruitment. He told Hayes Fawcett of On3 that he committed to Florida over Ole Miss, Cincinnati and Florida State.
With Chukuyem on board, UF now has 12 pledges in its 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 23 nationally on the Composite. Florida’s 2026 recruiting got off to a slow start, but Billy Napier’s staff has been busy in the month of June, landing 10 commitments.
