It’s another edition of the Border War on Friday between No. 23 Missouri and Kansas. The Jayhawks currently have 2 key players dealing with injuries heading into the home matchup vs. the Tigers.
Starting linebacker Daveon Crouch (shoulder) is doubtful, while wide receiver Cam Pickett (leg) is a game-time decision, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Kansas wide receiver Cam Pickett (leg) will be a game time decision after missing the LIU game. He tied for the team lead in receptions last year (45) and finished with 476 yards and three touchdowns. He’s expected to dress and warm up, and a decision will be made.

Crouch exited Kansas’ 51-6 season-opening victory vs. visiting Long Island with the apparent shoulder injury. The 6-foot-1 senior from Tampa is a transfer from Boston College, in which he amassed 109 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss.
The 6-foot Pickett, a senior from Chicago, tied for the most receptions on the Jayhawks last season (45) as well as tallying 476 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Pickett is anticipated to dress and warm up and from there a determination will be decided.
Missouri beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 54-14 in its season opener. Tigers quarterback Austin Simmons tossed 4 touchdowns on 17-for-19 passing with 252 yards.
Missouri leads the all-time series 58-54-9 vs. Kansas. The Tigers are on a 4-game winning streak vs. the Jayhawks after last season’s 42-31 victory from Columbia. Missouri at Kansas is slated for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on FOX.
