Two Minute Drill: Vanderbilt enters another tough matchup facing questions

To say that Vanderbilt has struggled this season is an understatement. The Commodores have seen a roulette of quarterbacks, thrown more interceptions than touchdowns, hold a -6 turnover margin and put their first year coach on the hot seat after just one game. Things aren’t looking to improve and a tough matchup at No. 13 Georgia should only add to the struggles.
Todd Gurley is running his way to a Heisman Trophy candidacy. The junior is coming off a career-best 208-yard performance against a talented Tennessee defense. But the rest of Georgia’s offense should be hungry coming off of an otherwise disappointing performance.
Tennessee forced quarterback Hutson Mason to throw two interceptions. Mason has worked as a game manager for most of the season, but struggled when the pressure was on. The Bulldogs will look to prove that they are not just a one-dimensional offense in Saturday’s game.
Vanderbilt’s offense needs to prove several things. Outside of Ralph Webb, the only player that has played consistently well is Patton Robinette, who will miss his second consecutive start due to a concussion. Saturday’s game should be ugly and a win for the Commodores seems all but impossible given their current state.
