Signing Day always brings some interesting twists and turns and Tyre West created some drama on Wednesday.
After being committed to Georgia for more than a year, the 4-star defensive lineman announced that he will instead be signing with Tennessee.

Interestingly enough, it ended up being Florida State that was West’s other finalist and not Georgia.
A 6-3, 280-pounder from Tifton, Georgia, West is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 111 overall prospect and No. 20 defensive lineman in the 2022 recruiting class.
He is also rated as the No. 12 recruit in the state of Georgia.
In addition to Tennessee, Florida State, and Georgia, West also had offers from LSU, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, and Kentucky, among others.
