UGA’s big win over UK jumps the ‘Dawgs up to No. 15 in latest CFP rankings

In order to get moving back in the right direction in the College Football Playoff rankings, the Georgia Bulldogs needed to bounce back from their loss against Florida in a big way.
63 points? Yeah, that should do it.
The ‘Dawgs erupted for 63 points against the Kentucky Wildcats in front of a raucous road environment in Lexington, Ky. Thanks to the blowout victory and some key losses around the conference, Georgia moved up 5 spots in tonight’s newest CFP poll to No. 15.

Ahead of the Bulldogs are six two-loss teams and three SEC squads: Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama and Mississippi State.
LSU and Texas A&M round out the conference’s seven teams in this week’s CFP poll.
Mississippi State, Oregon, Florida State and TCU are this week’s top four teams, while Alabama and Arizona State round out the poll at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
