Our Week 4 CFB Picks
Here’s who we like for Saturday’s big-time college football slate:
Andrew Olson
Jadan Baugh, Florida RB: Longest rush higher than 23.5 yards
Just 3 games into the season, we’ve already seen Baugh break off quite a few long runs. The Ole Miss defense has had some issues with missed tackles. Baugh breaks a lot of tackles, and should get at least one long run against the Rebels.
LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina QB: Higher than 226.5 passing yards
Alabama just allowed 377 passing yards to Florida State QB Ashton Daniels. The Crimson Tide are sure to have worked on some defensive adjustments this week, but 150 yards better is a lot to ask. Sellers had that weirdly off game against Towson, but he’s thrown for 270 and 282 in South Carolina’s other games.
Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State WR: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving TDs
Kent State lost 59-3 to Ohio State, but the Golden Flashes somehow managed to keep Jeremiah Smith from scoring a touchdown. In 32 career games, Smith has 30 receiving TDs. Only once has he gone back-to-back games without a score.

Jadan Baugh, Florida RB: Higher than 118.5 rush yards
Allow me to make a Baugh pick, too. I’m keeping it simple this week and going with 3 running backs to dominate, starting with the Florida star. Ole Miss has struggled against the run this season, so Baugh is among the last players the Rebels want to see.
Wayne Knight, UCLA RB: Higher than 77.5 rush yards
UCLA has been a feel-good story in the first 3 games of the Bob Chesney era. Knight has been the engine of the offense and I don’t see that changing against Maryland today.
Makhi Hughes, Houston RB: Higher than 74.5 rush yards
Houston heads to Georgia Southern this afternoon in a bit of an odd game. But Hughes should get plenty of work as the Cougars look to bounce back from last week’s loss to Texas Tech.
Our Week 3 NFL Picks
Here’s who we’re riding with on NFL Sunday:
Andrew Olson
Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers WR: Higher than 3.5 receptions
San Francisco is having one heck of a time keeping its receiver room healthy. Samuel, though, has managed to avoid the injury bug. Expect Brock Purdy to look the veteran’s way a few times on Sunday.
Kenneth Walker III, Kansas City Chiefs RB: Higher than 17.5 rush attempts
This number seems to be a reaction to the Miami defense containing San Francisco on the ground in Week 2. It’s a little early in the season, though, to think the Chiefs are going to alter their scheme. Walker leads the NFL with 23.5 carries per game. He should clear 18 again.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets WR: Higher than 10.65 fantasy points
Wilson cleared this mark in Weeks 1 and 2, and I like the way Week 3 sets up. Back in Week 1, the Saints showed that teams can throw on the Detroit defense. The Bills didn’t get it to their wide receivers as much, but opposing wideouts are still averaging over 14 yards a catch against the Lions.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks WR: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving TDs
The Washington defense is awful. And it sounds like Sam Darnold will be back for Seattle. I like JSN to find the end zone at least one time in what should be a big day for him.
Drake Maye, New England Patriots QB: Lower than 222.5 pass yards
Maye is struggling mightily to start the season (probably because I have him on my fantasy team this year). He looks like something is off and he will once again be without top WR AJ Brown. I think Jacksonville limits his effectiveness through the air.
Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys RB: Lower than 79.5 rush yards
This game is going to be played in Brazil, where the field will be shoddy. The Cowboys have struggled to run the ball in ideal conditions this year. Williams won’t reach 80 yards in less-than-stellar conditions.
