The Under Armour throwbacks complete with Texas Tech’s traditional double-T logo reminded me of the Atlanta Falcons combination during the ‘Dirty Bird’ era with running back Jamal Anderson.
STAR-SPANGLED BANNER UNIFORMS FALL FLAT FOR TERPS: The Oregon of the East took the field against West Virginia in a Under Armour-designed look honoring the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore, a battle that inspired Francis Scott Key’s Star-Spangled Banner. The words to Key’s song are written on the jersey, helmet and cleats. Maryland’s helmet decal is the outline of Fort McHenry with the American flag inside.
