Vanderbilt is coming off a season for the ages, as quarterback Diego Pavia helped take the program to another level as he made it to New York as a Heisman Trophy finalist. The Commodores narrowly missed making it to the College Football Playoff, and will look to continue that momentum during the 2026 season.
On Tuesday, Vanderbilt announced its annual spring game will be on April 18.
While Pavia is gone, the Commodores will once again be led by coach Clark Lea. The former Vanderbilt fullback has done a terrific job of getting the Commodores to among the nation’s best during his first five seasons as the head man. He has been named the SEC Coach of the Year in consecutive years, while also helping lead the school to its first ever 10-win season.
Expectations are only going to continue to be high for Vanderbilt as they were able to convince Jared Curtis to stay in Nashville and play for the Commodores. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is the No. 4 overall player in the class. He is the No. 1 player from Tennessee and the No. 2 quarterback as well.
The time for the spring game and other details will be announced at a later date.
