Don’t you just love a happy story?

It appears as though Missouri WR Eric Laurent, who won the program’s 2015 Walk-On Player of the Year award, will play his final season with the Tigers as a scholarship player.

Tigers TE Jason Reese Tweeted out the news on Tuesday morning:

Though there has been no official announcement from the university, Laurent did retweet the message, as did several Missouri football beat writers.

Laurent caught one pass for four yards during the Tigers’ narrow 9-6 win against UConn on Sept. 19.

The Ballwin, Mo. native is listed as a redshirt senior on the Tigers’ 2016 spring roster.
