Sony Michel has had quite a ride to the University of Georgia.

Despite serving as a backup to Nick Chubb for much of his career with the Bulldogs, Michel has remarkably accumulated 3,334 yards rushing. That mark is good for third on Georgia’s all-time list, behind only Herschel Walker and Chubb.

Michel truly is a special player, and he credits his upbringing for instilling in him a strong work ethic. He is thankful for his parents who immigrated to the U.S. from Haiti with hopes of providing a better life for Sony and his siblings.

It didn’t take long for Sony to understand that football could provide him with a lot of opportunities, including a college education. He also says that he keeps his parents in mind in everything that he does.
