WATCH: Colin Cowherd says Baker Mayfield will lead OU over Alabama in national title

FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd thinks Alabama will beat Clemson in the Sugar Bowl and make it to the national championship; however, he picked the Tide to lose to Heisman winner Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma.

Cowherd also explained that he believes Georgia is the third best team in the College Football Playoff, but the Bulldogs will ultimately lose to OU, his pick for the national championship.

The radio host says Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield will be the difference against Alabama.

The Sugar Bowl (No. 1 Clemson vs. No. 4 Alabama) and the Rose Bowl (No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Georgia) happen New Year’s Day.
