WATCH: Jay Bilas shows how Final Four opponents Auburn, Virginia like to attack defenses
The Saturday night matchup between Auburn and Virginia looks to be an epic showdown of teams with drastically opposing styles on the court. Auburn loves to go fast and jack up threes while Virginia is mostly known for defense and taking the air out of each possession, bleeding the shot clock down before taking an efficient shot.
Each team could not be more philosophically different but if you want an extra layer of analysis on the game, there may be no one better prepared for that task then Jay Bilas.
In a series of ESPN videos, Bilas shares one play each team loves to run looking ahead to the Final Four showdown.
First, Bilas breaks down one of Bruce Pearl’s favorite situations, passing the ball inbounds from under the basket. According to the ESPN college basketball analyst, the thing that makes this so tough for opposing defenses to defend is the alignment Pearl likes his team to come out with.
Here is a walkthrough of what to expect from Auburn on Saturday in the Final Four:

Now, as for Virginia, Bilas breaks down the Cavs’ blocker-mover offense. This offense is all about screens, screens and more screens (including back screens).
One of Virginia’s offenses, called Sides. It’s the old Blocker-Mover offense, run with “patient flow.” Virginia runs it exceedingly well. pic.twitter.com/rICpMZkQkD
