WATCH: Liberty player turns in Oscar-worthy flop during Atlantic Sun title game

It’s March, and that means every basketball game from here on out will be drama-filled and intense.

That was the case in Nashville on Sunday, where Lipscomb hosted Liberty in the Atlantic Sun title game.

In a close game with time winding down, a Liberty player took matters into his own hands, delivering one of the biggest flops of the season:

In the words of the legendary Ron Burgundy, “I’m not even mad. That’s amazing.”

Officials saw through the ploy and didn’t award Liberty any free throws, so no harm was unfairly done to Lipscomb. Still, it such a big game, I guess it was worth a shot to see if he could get a couple free points for his team.
