Week 8 in the SEC is a historic week for the conference. We get No. 10 LSU versus No. 17 Vanderbilt, No. 5 Ole Miss versus No. 9 Georgia, and No. 11 Tennessee versus No. 6 Alabama, but it isn’t the matchups themselves that are making history. It’s the fact that 8 conference games will be played on the same day. This did not occur at all during the 2024 season (the first with 16 teams) and won’t occur again this season.

We’ll be starting the slate at 12 p.m. with No. 10 LSU versus No. 17 Vanderbilt and will continue until the end of No. 16 Missouri versus Auburn, with a kickoff set for 7:45 p.m.

It’s a full day of SEC football, and one can’t think of a better way to spend your Saturday.

The SEC slate is spread out throughout the day. Games start at 12 p.m. ET with LSU-Vanderbilt, followed by No. 14 Oklahoma and South Carolina at 12:45 p.m. ET. This rolls into the afternoon slate with two games at 3:30 p.m., with No. 4 Texas A&M facing off against Arkansas and No. 5 Ole Miss squaring off with #9 Georgia.

In the afternoon, there is Mississippi State versus Florida at 4:15 p.m., which will roll into No. 21 Texas vs. Kentucky at 7 p.m. Finally, we finish the night off with No. 11 Tennessee versus No. 6 Alabama at 7:30 p.m. and No. 16 Mizzou versus Auburn at 7:45 p.m.

It’s a day full of ranked matchups and great games in the SEC.
