He furthered that by breaking the Auburn school record for consecutive free-throws made without a single miss at a total of 28, a record previously held by former Tigers Daniel Purifoy and Frankie Sullivan.
The Tigers (20-12) entered the contest a the No. 9 overall seed in the Midwest Region of the bracket. They are currently going up against the 8-seed Iowa Hawkeyes in the first round of action.
How Green continues to build off of his accomplishments and how the Tigers continue to progress throughout the best time of the year will be something to keep an eye on as the Tigers hold a strong, 51-39 lead over the Hawkeyes with just over 12 minutes left to play in the second half.
