The first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2017 season will be released on Tuesday night, which means plenty of coaches across the country have been talking about how little they care for the past week and a half.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart, whose Bulldogs should be in the top four of the first rankings, has called the rankings “poison,” and said they don’t matter.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that he has other plans for his Tuesday night, as he said after Tuesday’s practice.
As you can see in the tweet below, Smart plans to watch film of the South Carolina Gamecocks — Georgia’s Week 10 opponent — while the CFP committee is releasing its rankings:
Kirby was asked if he'll watch the CFP rankings: 'No, I'm going to be up here til 11 watching South Carolina.'
