Will Levis stands up for Titans teammate who received boos from home crowd
Will Levis is a class act and showed that on Sunday after the Tennessee Titans beat the Atlanta Falcons 28-23.
The quarterback position for the Titans has been up for grabs after Ryan Tannehill went down with an injury against the Baltimore Ravens in London.
Titans’ head coach Mike Vrabel stated before Sunday’s game that Malik Willis would also see snaps during the game. Levis started the game, but was subbed out during the first half, and fans started to rain down with boos.
Levis said that the boos left a sour taste in all his teammates mouths. He urged fans to treat Willis better in the future.
“I’m just one of eleven. It was a lot of guys that did their jobs today that won us that game, seven being one of them, Malik,” said Levis. “That left a sour taste in all of our mouths, hearing those boos when he was coming onto the field. We gotta know that he’s gonna be a big our part of us going forward to win games. Let’s just come correct next time as fans and treat him correctly.”

Willis was drafted by Tennessee out of Liberty in the 2022 NFL Draft. He started three games for the Titans last season after Tannehill went down with an injury.
