The Will Stein era is underway in Lexington, Kentucky, and the new head coach of the Wildcats is continuing to fill out his new staff heading into the back half of December.

According to CBS Sports college football insider Matt Zenitz, Stein is expected to hire current UTSA wide receivers coach Joe Price to fill the same role on his new staff in Lexington.

Price, who has been with the Roadrunners since 2020, has also been serving as the associate head coach and passing game coordinator for the past 2 years in San Antonio.

In addition to Price, Zenitz is also reporting that Stein is expected to hire current Houston Cougars safeties coach Josh Christian-Young to be a part of his defensive staff at Kentucky as well.

A well-traveled college assistant, Christian-Young brings over a decade of coaching experience to Stein’s staff. He has spent the past 2 seasons as the safeties coach at Houston where he has contributed to one of the best passing defenses in the nation.

Both he and Price will now be taking their experience to the Bluegrass State to join Will Stein, where they will attempt to turn around the Wildcats football program.
