Will Stein drops f-bomb in hilarious press conference moment, apologizes to Big Blue Nation

Game one of the Will Stein Era for the Kentucky Wildcats was an immense success. The Wildcats beat the Youngstown State Penguins 45-13 on Saturday, giving Stein his first win as UK’s head coach. Afterward, he was ready to celebrate.
At his postgame press conference, Stein told reporters he was going to have a cold beverage and enjoy some family time following Kentucky’s victory. Only, he used some more colorful terms.
“I’m going to go have a cold beer and f–ing, excuse my French, f’ing hang out with my family,” Stein said with a laugh. “Sorry, Big Blue Nation.”

Stein, the former offensive coordinator at Oregon, watched his offense post 506 total yards against the Penguins. Each of his three leading rushers averaged more than five yards per carry, and quarterback Kenny Minchey tallied 11.1 yards per pass attempt.
Youngstown State is a quality FCS team, so the Wildcats’ production isn’t something to simply sneeze at. However, Stein’s bunch will face much stiffer competition in Week 2. Kentucky hosts Alabama, who allowed just 162 total yards versus the East Carolina Pirates in their 48-10 triumph. Kickoff between the Wildcats and Crimson Tide is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 12 (ABC).
