Wisconsin pulls recruit’s scholarship after he tweets about Georgia offer

In the world of college football recruiting, high school players are constantly getting scholarship offers from schools and often take to Twitter to thank the school for their interest.
Unfortunately for 2018 QB Ben Bryant, a tweet about an offer he received from Georgia cost him his spot in Wisconsin’s 2018 recruiting class.
Bryant committed to the Badgers in December, but the school pulled his scholarship offer after learning of the Georgia tweet.
The tweet in question was innocent enough, with Bryant just saying he was thankful that the Bulldogs offered him a scholarship:

However, it apparently angered the Badgers, who Bryant said called him after seeing the tweet, according to Scout.com:
“I got a call this morning from Wisconsin saying that there’s no longer a spot for me there because I posted that I got another offer,” Bryant said in a message. “Very disappointed.”
Bryant also holds an offer from Central Michigan, but now that Georgia has offered him a scholarship, other big-name schools could get in the mix as well.
According to the 247Sports composite, Bryant is the No. 24 pro-style quarterback in the 2018 recruiting class and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Illinois.
