A couple of NBA players have already tested positive for coronavirus, and now the pandemic has spread to the XFL, too.

The XFL has already suspended its inaugural season amid the outbreak, but 1 of its players recently tested positive for the virus.

Per USA TODAY, a player for the Seattle Dragons is now under quarantine after a positive test result. The league issued a statement:

“The league is alerting players, staff, vendors and partners associated with the Dragons, Roughnecks and BattleHawks,” the XFL said in a statement provided to USA TODAY Sports on Saturday. “The XFL is monitoring the situation closely and taking every measure necessary in accordance with recommendations set forth by the CDC.”

The player was put into quarantine on Tuesday upon revealing he was feeling sick. No word yet on if any other XFL players have been infected.
