Bijan Robinson established himself as one of the best players in the NFL from the moment he took the field for the Atlanta Falcons in 2023.
He showed off that talent once against on Monday Night Football, taking the 3rd play of the game 59 yards for a touchdown to put the Falcons up 7-0 against the New Orleans Saints.
Robinson made one guy miss in the backfield, and then he was able to outrun the defenders and go untouched on the way to the end zone. The former Texas Longhorns star is looking to potentially get to 1,000 yards for a third consecutive season, as he has rushed for at least 1,456 yards in each of the last two years.
The game on Monday Night Football has special importance, as the game is being called the ‘Domecoming’ anniversary of the iconic game between the Falcons and Saints 20 years ago after Hurricane Katrina. Steve Gleason, who famously blocked an early punt, was honored before the game. Gleason, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011, has been a pillar in raising over $65 million for ALS research.
