Bijan Robinson rips off 81-yard TD run against Bills

Bijan Robinson turned on the burners for a career-long 81-yard rushing touchdown to extend the Atlanta Falcons’ lead against the visiting Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. The Texas product scored the sensational touchdown during the second quarter of the primetime contest at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The 5-foot-11 Robinson has now rushed for touchdowns in his last 2 games. It might not be a coincidence that the Falcons’ 2 victories this season have come in Robinson’s best individual performances. ‘
Robinson finished with 75 yards on the ground with a touchdown in the Falcons’ 34-27 victory vs. the Washington Commanders on Sept. 28. The most rushing yards by Robinson this season was 143 on 6.5 yards per carry in a 22-6 againt the Minnesota Vikings.
The Falcons drafted Robinson with the No. 8 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Robinson has lived up to the billing as a pro. He amassed 8 total touchdowns as a rookie (4 rushing, 4 receiving). Robinson avoided a sophomore slump and instead reached the Pro Bowl thanks to recording 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground.
We’ll see if Robinson has any more special plays in him vs. the Bills but this is a strong start already.
