Brock Bowers expected to miss ‘a game or two’ following medical procedure, per report

Brock Bowers likely won’t be suiting up for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, according to a report.
NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, per sources, that Bowers underwent a meniscus trim on Tuesday. He is expected to miss “a game or two.”

The Las Vegas Raiders open their 2026 season at home on Sunday, hosting the Miami Dolphins. They’re on the road in Week 2 at the Los Angeles Chargers. If Bowers only misses two games, he would be looking at a return for the Sept. 27 road game against the New Orleans Saints. Raiders fans and many fantasy owners will be closely following all updates on Bowers.
The former Georgia standout is entering Year 3 of his pro career. The Raiders selected him No. 13 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, Bowers was named first-team All-Pro after recording 112 catches for 1,194 yards and 5 touchdowns. In 2025, Bowers dealt with injuries and was limited to 12 appearances, starting 8 times. His receptions and receiving yards dipped to 64/680 in fewer games, but he managed to record more touchdowns (7) than in his rookie year (5).
