CeeDee Lamb was not in uniform for the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night. The former Oklahoma standout, though, was part of one of the most talked-about moments of the game and received a penalty.

The Cowboys were in Los Angeles to face the Rams. During a passing play, Lamb stepped a bit too far out from the sideline and into the path of a ref running down the sideline. Lamb got absolutely trucked.

It was that kind of night for the Cowboys. Not that preseason scores matter that much, but Dallas lost to Los Angeles 31-21. The Cowboys scored 15 in the 4th quarter after falling behind 24-6.

As for Lamb, the clip indicated that he was fine after taking one of the hardest hits of the night. Though it resulted in a flag, it appeared that there were some laughs shared on the Dallas sideline.

Lamb, who has spent his entire pro career in Dallas, is entering his sixth season in the NFL. He was the NFL’s receptions leader in 2023 with 135 for a career-high 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, resulting in a first-team All-Pro selection. Last season, Lamb made second-team All-Pro and was named to his 4th straight Pro Bowl after logging 101 catches for 1,194 yards and 6 TDs.
