As the NFL season heats up, all eyes are on the Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, a powerhouse who has consistently defied expectations and earned his place among football’s elite. However, Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit is one of the rare players who has managed to take Henry down not just on the field but also with a bold remark ahead of their highly anticipated Sunday showdown at M&T Bank Stadium.

When asked how challenging it is to tackle the imposing 6-3, 252-pound Henry. Delpit did not hesitate to respond with bravado.

“Not hard,” the former LSU defensive back told reporters.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide standout wasted no time firing back, acknowledging Delpit’s comment with a confident retort:

“He had a quote. We’ll see on Sunday,” Henry said, per ESPN.

The stage is indeed set for an electrifying showdown.

Heading into this clash, Henry remains unfazed by the banter. He has already made waves this season, rushing for an impressive 169 yards, the highest total in week one of the NFL. While Delpit is riding high on his ego, there’s no doubt that stopping Henry will be one of the most significant challenges facing the Browns’ defense.

Both teams enter this contest with an identical record of 0-1. The Ravens suffered a narrow defeat against the Buffalo Bills falling 41-40. Meanwhile, the Browns narrowly lost to their rivals, the Bengals, with the score of 17-16.

The stakes are high as these two teams battle it out at 1:00 p.m. ET in Baltimore. Will Delpit’s confidence translate to success against Henry?
