Former Arkansas kicker Cam Little hits walk-off field goal to give Jaguars win in London
In a stadium known for memorable kicks, former Arkansas Razorback Cam Little just added a moment to the list.
The Jacksonville Jaguars battled the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in one of the NFL’s London Games, with the contest taking place at the historic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A second half that was largely dominated by the Jaguars saw Jalen Hurts and the Eagles claim a 17-16 lead with just 8 seconds remaining after Jake Elliott hit a 48-yard field goal.
But to kickstart a perfect series of events for Jacksonville, former Nebraska Cornhusker and longtime league veteran Ameer Abdullah returned the ensuing kickoff 53 yards to the Philly 39-yard line.
That allowed Little to step up for a 56-yard game-winning kick, and he knocked it through the uprights before sprinting to the end zone with his helmet off and hands raised to the sky.
A 6th Round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Arkansas, Little has been a reliable weapon for Jacksonville, as he’s missed just 8 kicks across 3 seasons thus far and converted 15 from 50-plus yards out.
Little’s kick moves the Jags to 4-1 on the season, while the Eagles fall to a disappointing 2-3 following another close loss.
