Former Georgia star and current Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. was reportedly arrested last week and accused of speeding and reckless driving in Georgia.

ESPN reported that the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office said that Smith was clocked going 135 mph in a 70 mph zone on the interstate at 10:41 pm. Smith posted bond and was released about an hour after he was booked. The arrest was first reported by The Georgia Gazette.

A court date for the case is set for July 14, though Smith would not need to appear if he pays the fines associated with the citations.
