First-round pick KC Concepcion had the best game of his rookie season so far in Week 4. The former Texas A&M Aggie hauled in five catches for 64 yards in the Cleveland Browns’ 27-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was hoping to build on that effort in Week 5. Instead, he’ll be on the mend.

During Cleveland’s game against the New York Jets, Concepcion was hit hard by defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick. The blow from the former Alabama defender was to the back of Concepcion’s helmet. Concepcion left the field because of Fitzpatrick’s action and was ruled out with a head injury.

Fitzpatrick, a nine-year veteran, was traded to the Jets this offseason from the Miami Dolphins. New York is the third franchise he has played for in his NFL career.

Concepcion joined the Browns after three seasons of college football. He played his freshman and sophomore campaigns for the NC State Wolfpack. Concepcion racked up 124 receptions, 1,299 yards and 16 touchdowns before transferring to Texas A&M as a junior. With the Aggies, Concepcion recorded 61 catches, 919 yards and an SEC-best nine touchdowns. Cleveland will hope to have him back on the field for a Week 6 showdown vs. the Baltimore Ravens.
