Marvin Harrison Jr. is headed to the Houston Texans.

One day after news that the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was on his way out of Arizona, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport are reporting that Harrison will be traded from the Cardinals to the Texans. Houston will also receive a 2027 seventh-round pick while sending a 2027 second- and sixth-rounder to Arizona.

Schefter and Rapoport are two of the most respected newsbreakers in all of sports, so this trade is all but official. If Texans fans needed further confirmation, though, they received it straight from head coach DeMeco Ryans after a 26-3 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Texans had struggled mightily in 2026, going 0-4 before a blowout win against the Titans. No. 1 receiver Nico Collins was out for a pair of games due to a hamstring injury but returned in Week 4, where he made just two catches for 45 yards. He made five grabs for 56 yards against Tennessee.

With Tank Dell recovering from a long-term knee injury, the Texans hope that Harrison can benefit from a change of scenery and become the player the Cardinals hoped he’d become.

And, as a member of the Texans, Harrison will be in the same division as the Indianapolis Colts, where his father totaled over 14,000 yards over 13 seasons during a Hall of Fame career.
