A Dallas Cowboys fan decided that instead of a traditional Trevon Diggs No. 7 jersey, he wanted the name to read “Deez Nuts.” The fan now has Diggs’ approval via an autograph from the former Alabama defensive back.
Mike Leslie of WFAA shared video of Diggs signing the “Deez Nuts” jersey.

Diggs’ use of “deez nuts” was part of a contentious postgame exchange last October with Leslie after the Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers. Leslie had interpreted Diggs to be jogging during a key play.
Thatโs what you took from that? Out of that whole play, thatโs what you took from that? You donโt know football. You canโt do nothing that I do. You canโt go out there and do nothing. Stay in your lane, buddy. Stop trying me, dog,” Diggs said to Leslie.
“Just asking the question, Trevon. I mean, Iโm happy to have you answer the question,” Leslie responded.
“Out of that whole play, thatโs what you took from that? Thatโs what you got from that? Out of that whole play, thatโs what you got from that?” Diggs asked back.
“We can talk about it more,” Leslie offered.
Diggs replied, “Talk about deez nuts.
Diggs and Leslie settled the dispute with the defensive back offering a can of Dee’s Nuts as an apology. While Diggs may be a fan of the legitimate product, he presumably developed an affinity for deez nuts jokes from years of playing for Nick Saban.
