Urban Meyer’s first season in Jacksonville has been a disaster by all accounts and things don’t appear as if they’ll be improving anytime soon.
The Jaguars are just 2-10 on the season and Meyer has been embroiled in off-field controversy as well.
Most recently, an NFL Media report surfaced this week that Meyer had been engaged in heated exchanges with members of his staff and called his assistants “losers.”
FOX NFL Sunday contributor Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Meyer denied calling his assistants “losers” but that he admitted he is “hard on my coaches. I get on them.”

In spite of all of his issues in Jacksonville, Meyer also told Glazer that he still believes that he has the full support of Jacksonville’s ownership.
The Jaguars are at Tennessee today, and they trail 10-0 late in the second quarter.
