Washington Commanders embarrass themselves with erroneous mugs at stadium

Washington Commanders decisions continue to be head scratchers and the latest one came on Sunday morning, as the NFL team based in the nation’s capital somehow allowed mugs to be sold with a ‘W’ and an outline of the state of Washington.
Besides the well-known name change, the NFL franchise has dealt with a series of issues in recent years, and most notably currently is dealing with an ongoing congressional investigation into workplace culture, and Daniel Snyder’s ownership of the team, which flies in the face of most fans’ interest.

There was also defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio calling the Jan. 6 insurrection a “dust-up at the Capitol,” and a potential stadium deal with Virginia falling apart in the aftermath of that comment. Recently, former Alabama star, and rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr was shot twice in the right leg in an attempted robbery.
Meanwhile, on the field, the team is looking for a fresh start thanks to the name change, but also is trying to overcome an extended drought of success. The franchise has missed the playoffs 17 of the past 22 years.
