When Will Levis entered the 2023 NFL Draft, there was chatter that he’d be selected with the No. 1 overall pick. Instead, he slid to the second round. Now, three years later, the Tennessee Titans have moved on from the former Kentucky quarterback. But he’s not harboring hard feelings.

Levis took to Twitter/X on Monday morning, thanking Tennessee for his time in the organization. He said the Titans will “always hold a special place” in his heart.

Levis made 21 appearances (all starts) for Tennessee. He went 5-16 in those starts, completing 61.0% of his passes for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Four of those touchdowns came in his NFL debut, where he led the Titans to a 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Unfortunately, these highlights of Levis weren’t tremendously followed up. Many of his plays from subsequent games were on the other end of the spectrum, creating memeable moments.

One thing that can’t be denied, though, is that Levis has the arm talent to potentially be successful in the NFL. Teams that are unsettled at the quarterback position could be inclined to take a chance on him, and try to develop him behind the scenes. Levis is currently on waivers.
