2023 NFL Draft: 7 Power 5 programs, including 1 SEC school, fail to produce picks

The 2023 NFL Draft is officially in the books from Kansas City, with 259 players hearing their names called over the course of the 7-round event.
But not every Power 5 program was fortunate enough to produce a pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In fact, 7 Power 5 teams produced 0 picks.
Among those schools was 1 SEC program — Vanderbilt. The Pac-12 led the way with 3 teams (Arizona, Colorado and Washington) combining for 0 picks. The ACC (Duke), B1G (Indiana), Big 12 (Kansas) and SEC (Vanderbilt) all had only 1 school shut out in the draft this year:
