The 2023 NFL Draft is officially in the books from Kansas City, with 259 players hearing their names called over the course of the 7-round event.

But not every Power 5 program was fortunate enough to produce a pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In fact, 7 Power 5 teams produced 0 picks.

Among those schools was 1 SEC program — Vanderbilt. The Pac-12 led the way with 3 teams (Arizona, Colorado and Washington) combining for 0 picks. The ACC (Duke), B1G (Indiana), Big 12 (Kansas) and SEC (Vanderbilt) all had only 1 school shut out in the draft this year:

How many of those programs will be able to turn things around and produce draft picks in 2024? We’ll find out next April in Detroit!
