Rodrigo Blankenship missed a game-winning field goal Sunday against the Houston Texans and is now back on the open market.

The Indianapolis Colts waived the third-year kicker out of Georgia on Tuesday according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Blankenship latched on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He had a solid rookie season, converting 32-of-37 field goals and 43-of-45 extra points for 139 points total. A hip injury limited Blankenship to five games with the Colts last season.

He was a four-year starter at Georgia and won the Groza Award in 2019. Blankenship never missed an extra point with the Bulldogs (200-for-2000) and hit on 82.5 percent of his field goals (80-of-97).
