An Ohio State player who walked off the field during the game against Akron on Saturday night apparently has signaled the end of his Buckeye career.

Just before halftime, LB K’Vaughan Pope reportedly walked off the field, and threw his gloves in the stands after a heated exchange with assistant coach Al Washington. Then, moments later, he published a pair of tweets about the situation, “good lucc to my teammates” and “fucc ohio state.” He later deleted the second tweet. Earlier, he also reportedly took off his jersey, and was escorted to the locker room.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the specific reason was for Pope being upset, but Pope has 3 tackles this season, and the veteran contributor came has played in 31 career games and been a key contributor on special teams.
