Looks like Ohio State will be losing yet another player to the transfer portal, this time it’s backup quarterback Jack Miller.

Miller released a statement via Twitter Sunday afternoon.

“I would like to thank everyone for accepting me since the first day I thought about coming to Ohio State,” Miller wrote. “I have decided to leave Ohio State and look at opportunities available for me to play the game I love. I will always love my brothers and my coaches and wish them great success, but for me it is time to get on the field. The coaches have prepared me to face the future head on and with confidence. I will always be thankful for the time they spent with me. Thank you and and God bless The Ohio State Buckeyes.”

Miller was a 4-star player out of Arizona who was in the same class as CJ Stroud when they both came to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have lost several players over the years to the transfer portal, the latest was Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams who has played a huge part in the Crimson Tide’s 11-1 season.
