Dillon Gabriel goes hero mode, throws go-ahead TD pass vs. Texas with 15 seconds left

Dillon Gabriel is a heck of a quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners. He didn’t play in the game against Texas last year due to an injury, but he’s back this year!
And wow, did he ever make a big play down in the red zone with 15 seconds remaining and the Sooners trailing 30-27 against No. 3 Texas.
As you can see below, it looked almost certain that Gabriel was going to be sacked by a tough Texas defense. Instead, from the middle of a scrum, he tossed an easy TD pass to Nic Anderson:

That 3-yard touchdown grab was Anderson’s only catch of the day. What a time to do it.
Oklahoma’s defense held off a last-second Hail Mary attempt from Texas to win 34-30, putting the Longhorns’ College Football Playoff hopes on life support.
Oklahoma is now 6-0 and will be in position to move toward the top 4 in the polls next week. Gabriel will have his name mentioned in Heisman conversations moving forward, too.
