Brandon Bolden, former Ole Miss RB, involved in NFL's latest ridiculous unnecessary roughness call

Brandon Bolden, a former Ole Miss running back, was in the middle of the seemingly weekly example of a ridiculous unnecessary roughness call in the NFL, and fans let their opinions be known.

Bolden, a special teams player for the New England Patriots, hit Miami Dolphins punter Michael Palardy, who scrambled on a fourth down and 3 play. The call gave Miami a fresh set of downs, and they ended up kicking a field goal to extend their lead to 17-0 in the second quarter.

At some point, the NFL may adjust this rule, but in the mean time, it appears that these types of calls will continue, with a similar reaction to follow.

One day the NFL will implement BB’s suggestion for teams to be able to challenge everything. Hope that day comes sooner than later.

Unfortunately you cant challenge that one. Its super stupid. If you can challenge pass interference you should be able to challenge unnecessary roughness.
