Lane Kiffin has delivered several comments on social media and otherwise leading up to the huge game this week against Alabama. Now ESPN’s Michael Wilbon gave him one more reason to speak out.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Pardon the Interruption,” Wilbon responded to a toss-up question about which team would be the better winner for the college football season. Co-host Tony Kornheiser immediately said Ole Miss, and explained that Kiffin is a former Nick Saban assistant, and those coaches are winless against Saban in 23 games, and the margin in those game has been an average of 25 points.

Kornheiser cautioned that he didn’t think Ole Miss could win, but if it did, Kiffin would be mentioned for every open head coaching job in college football.

Wilbon countered with, “The answer’s Alabama, because of Lane Kiffin. There’s nothing to be proud of if you’re college football, or any other sport with Lane Kiffin. Lane Kiffin’s a clown. Lane Kiffin has been an embarrassment at multiple stops. Nobody’s going to run out there and say, ‘Yeah, I want Lane Kiffin right here on the logo representing me.’ The answer’s Alabama, Tony. Lane Kiffin’s a cute little story for guys like us who have to talk about sports every day. We can come in on Monday and say, ha ha ha, Lane Kiffin. Once again, Lane Kiffin equals embarrassment at some point wherever he is.”

Kiffin responded on Twitter with a series of emojis, including a “mad face” and “prayer hands,” and then wrote, “Life is to short to be so angry.”
