Matt Corral has made it official: 2021 is his final season at Ole Miss.

Corral, a redshirt junior, has been considered one of the top quarterback prospects of the 2022 NFL Draft. In a note posted Friday night, Corral confirms he will not be returning for a redshirt senior season, calling Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt his last time out at Vaught-Hemingway.

Corral, a Long Beach Poly (California) product, signed with Ole Miss as the No. 63 overall recruit in the class of 2018. In his note, Corral says Oxford will always be a second home.

Corral has been talked about as a Heisman Trophy candidate as the 2021 Rebels push to be the first team in Ole Miss history to win 10 games in the regular season.

Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, airing on the SEC Network.
